Swedish for Immigrants, SFI

SFI provides basic knowledge of Swedish and Swedish society. You can often combine SFI with courses at different levels. After SFI, there is an opportunity to continue with Swedish as a second language.

Application to sfi will temporarily close

Mellan den 22 maj och den 22 juni kommer ansökan till sfi att stängas. Detta beror på att Göteborgs Stad byter ansökningssystem. Från och med den 23 juni kommer ansökan att vara öppen som vanligt igen i det nya ansökningssystemet. Between May 22nd and June 22nd the application system to sfi will be closed. This due to City of Gothenburg changing application systems. This is Swedish for Immigrants, SFI
Swedish for Immigrants, sfi, is a basic education in Swedish for you who are not a native Swedish speaker. You learn how to speak, read and write in Swedish and you get to know about Swedish society. When you have finished your course you get a grade. Sfi is free of charge.
