Meröppet

Torslanda bibliotek är meröppet. Ett meröppet bibliotek kan du besöka när biblioteket inte är öppet. Då kan du bland annat reservera, hämta och lämna tillbaka dina lån utan att personal är på plats. För att bli en meröppetanvändare behöver du registrera dig och skriva på ett avtal. OBSERVERA att du ska använda nyckelknappen och/eller upptryckarknappen för att ta dig ut. Dörren är larmad och larmet går om nödhandtaget används. Meröppettider är: mån - lör kl. 9 - 10 och från stängning till kl. 21 sön kl. 9 - 21

Vad är ett meröppet bibliotek?

På ett meröppet bibliotek kan du komma in i bibliotekslokalen under vissa tider när ingen personal är på plats.

När biblioteket är meröppet kan du till exempel:

  • Låna, lämna tillbaka och förnya dina lån
  • Reservera böcker och hämta dina reservationer
  • Använda Göteborgs stads trådlösa nätverk (wifi)

Du kan också använda bibliotekets datorer, skriva ut, kopiera, skanna och läsa tidningar. Om du redan befinner dig i lokalen när bemannade öppettider är över, så behöver du ändå lämna lokalen och logga in dig som meröppetanvändare.

Du måste ha fyllt 18 år för att bli meröppetanvändare.

Viktigt att tänka på

  • För att komma in på ett meröppet bibliotek behöver du vara registrerad meröppetanvändare. Du öppnar entrédörren med ditt bibliotekskort och pinkod, eller med tolvsiffrigt personnummer och pinkod.
  • Du får inte släppa in obehöriga personer när du besöker ett meröppet bibliotek.
  • Du får inte låna ut ditt bibliotekskort så att någon annan använder det för att komma in på ett meröppet bibliotek.
  • Visa hänsyn mot andra besökare och mot lokalen.
  • Lämna biblioteket före stängningsdags. Högtalarsystemet varnar i god tid innan biblioteket stänger för natten. Se till att entrédörren stängs ordentligt när du lämnar ett meröppet bibliotek. Ljuset släcks och larmet kopplas på automatiskt några minuter efter stängning.
  • Biblioteket har rätt att spärra ditt kort från meröppet om du inte följer reglerna.

    What is Meröppet?


    Meröppet means that the library is open to visitors at certain times, even when there are no staff on site. As a Meröppet user, you are welcome to visit the libraries in Askim, Guldheden, Kyrkbyn, Tuve and Torslanda.

    Why Meröppet?


    This provides greater opportunity for you to visit the library at times that suit you. Meröppet use is based on you being able to do the things you need yourself. If you need help from a member of staff, you are welcome to visit the library during staffed opening hours

    Who can use a Meröppet library?


    You have to be 18 or older.
    You must have a library card, and register as a Meröppet user. You also need to sign a Meröppet user agreement, where you agree to follow the rules of the library. You can do this at the library during staffed opening hours. Don’t forget your ID.

    What can I do at the library during Meröppet?


    You can borrow and return your items using the self-service machines. You can collect items you have reserved. You can use the computers and the library’s Wi-Fi, and also the photocopier and printer. You can study, or read newspapers.

    How do I get in during Meröppet?


    Put your library card against the card reader by the entrance door and enter your PIN. You can also log in using your personal identity number (12 digits) and PIN. Now the door unlocks, and you can enter. Torslanda library has two entrance doors, one to get in to kulturhuset Vingen, and one outside the library on the third floor.

    How do I get out during Meröppet?


    Use the automated door opener or press the key button and push on the door. The handle on the door is connected to an alarm and should only be used during emergency evacuation.

    When the library closes


    The loudspeaker system gives plenty of warning before the library closes. The alarm switches on automatically a few minutes after closing. Make sure you close the door behind you when you leave. The library is not responsible for forgotten items.

    Important to remember


    To enter the library, you need a library card and a PIN. You are welcome to bring your children, but children are not allowed without adult supervision at all time. You must not lend your library card to anyone else. When you arrive to, or leave the library, you must not allow other people access. Treat other Meröppet users with respect, and tidy up after yourself.
    Your Meröppet user agreement is saved at the library as long as you remain a Meröppet user. If you don't follow the rules of the library, the library has the right to unregister you as a Meröppet user.
