About basic educaton for adults
We offer a wide variety of courses, and new courses start several times each year. The courses available for each starting period can vary, but we often offer subjects such as English, mathematics, Swedish, Swedish as a second language, social studies, science and geography. You can also combine these courses with upper secondary courses.
You can see what previous knowledge is required for each course in the course description when you apply. You can study in different ways, for example full-time or part-time, during the day or in the evening. More information about study options is available in the course information when you apply.
You will start at a level that fits your knowledge. When you apply, we look at your grades. If you do not have grades, you may need to do a level test. You will then make a study plan together with a study counsellor.
After each course, you receive a grade: Pass or Not pass. You do not receive grades in special orientation courses.
After your studies, you can continue at upper secondary level. Some courses can also help you move on to a vocational programme.
