If you are enrolled in upper secondary school (high school), you may receive a study allowance up to and including the spring term of the year you turn 20. The study allowance consists of a study grant and accommodation allowance (costs for more expensive accommodation, for example, if you live in another location).
If you are under 18, the study allowance will be paid to your guardian until the month after you turn 18. After that, the study allowance will be paid directly to you.
The study allowance is administered by the Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN).
