Krakow Study Trip
Learning from the past is an essential part of history studies and this opportunity allows students to visit the city of Kraków with the main theme studied is the Holocaust, and a visit to the concentration camps, Auschwitz and Birkenau.
The International High School offers students to learn more about the atrocities of the Holocaust by travelling to one of the darkest historical places in the world; Auschwitz and Birkenau. The students who are selected to go on this trip, are a part of a 3 day study visit to Kraków, learning not only about the Holocaust but also how Krakow became an important location for the families of the Nazi commanders and generals. This international project also includes a visit to the Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory and the Jewish ghettos. When the students come back, they are to share their stories and experiences with their classmates and hold an exhibition in the school library.
