City of Gothenburg one of Europe's climate-neutral cities
European Commission announces City of Gothenburg as one of 100 cities participating in EU Mission for climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030. The appointment entails extra resources financially, but also provides access to skills support and a larger network for knowledge exchange. -
City of Gothenburg becomes first Swedish municipality to link sustainability goals to loans
The City of Gothenburg links financing with sustainability goals when renegotiated loans. The financing is a three-year and five-year loan promise totalling SEK 8 billion. Participating banks are SEB, Swedbank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Danske Bank and DNB. SEB has acted as sustainability coordinator.
