Budapest Exchange

Learning from each others cultures and history, the Budapest exchange provides an important insight for our students. The theme of the exchange has over the years focused on both natural and social science topics, such as the achievements of the Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg.

The Budapest exchange programme has been a part of The International High School since 2010 and is highly appreciated by pupils and staff alike. Each academic year the teachers in Gothenburg and Budapest settle on a theme to set the tone for the exchange. Over the years themes such as Raoul Wallenberg's heroics in Budapest in 1944, street art, and sustainable development have been worked with by both pupils and teachers from the respective schools.

This year the group of students and teachers that have been selected for the Budapest exchange  will spend five days with their Hungarian classmates in February. The theme for 2024 is yet to be decided.
