IB engages with the wider community

IB collaboration with other educational communities.

In November, our Physics students visited Chalmers and were fascinated by the research happening at Chalmers where they learned some basic theories of Graphene. In fact, 3 of the students will probably take this study further with their Internal Investigation. Students conducted experimental physics research in the department of microtechnology and nanoscience (Mc2) at Chalmers. Students characterized electrical properties of graphene nanodevices, a single layer of carbon atoms, fabricated with the state of the art fabrication techniques in cleanroom.
