We help you find the right support

Children and adults with a functional impairment may need different types of support. This can include actions and measures by the municipality, the medical care services, or government agencies such as Försäkringskassan and Arbetsförmedlingen. Various associations and non-profit activities also provide support.

It's not always easy to know what’s available and how to apply for it. That’s why we set up the Guide for children and adults with a functional impairment – a free information service for residents in the City of Gothenburg.

We can provide guidance about e.g:

» Measures under the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (Lagen om stöd och service till vissa funktionshindrade, LSS) or the Social Services Act (Socialtjänstlagen, SoL)

» Finances, power of attorney and limited guardians

You don’t need to have a particular diagnosis or a prepared question – it’s enough that you want to know more about support, rights or opportunities.
